Nic gum and side affects

Any one use it? Did you get heartburn? Any other side affects like burning your throat?
I'm on day 10
This is an easier quit than before since I am still saturated with nicotene! But, anything is better than smoking.
Peace to all.

Nicotine gum *killed* my stomach!
But, I used it during the worst of my cravings when I quit for my 2 years. It was ususally when I was in the car.
Don't chew it like normal gum. Chew and hold it in the side of your cheek they said. That's supposed to help.

Shalom!

I had one piece. It gave me mad hiccups.

The gum helped with nicotine cravings, but I didn't like the texture LOL A colleague of mine is addicted to it. She quit smoking a year ago. Just make sure you don't get addicted to the gum.

I used the lozenges and got hiccups from them. I continued to use them though. No problem weaning myself off of those. Hiccups...yuck!!

I used the gum and quit. I found it brilliant but have to agree, they gave me crazy hic ups, but anythings better than smoking

I feel sick whenever I smell smoke now. Yuk.
