3 months as a non smoker

still have the odd 'I feel like smoking' moments and I just let them pass.
I've also been able to save some money and for some weird reason have not been short of paid work since I stopped smoking! Which is odd as part of stopping smoking was I really couldn't afford it any more. But then this idea in itself made no sense, at time, because I saw smoking as essential as food!

But anyway, yah for me! Long may it continue, a day at a time.

Great progress liz, it's good inspiration for those who have the desire to quit.

I quit chewing years ago, but every so often I reach into a desk drawer for what used to be the ever-present can of Copenhagen, which of course hasn't been there for awhile. Weird.

My sponsor says the same thing and she quit smoking years ago too. Strange because (since I stopped drinking nearly 11 years ago now) I don't ever go to the store, see wine on special and think oh I should buy some of that! I think smoking is more insidious.

It's great the boards are here to post. They are a great tool to help me stay stopped.

Congrats to you also Dime! It's good to have this place, where we can share our successes with the rest of the world.
