| Interesting website
Hello All, I have never been a smoker but I did stumble into a neat website that made me think of you on this forum: WhyQuit - the Internet's leading cold turkey quit smoking resource

This particular tip has been huge for me whenever a thought hits that I'll never have that feeling of enjoying a smoke again.. Work on developing the attitude that you are doing yourself a favor by not smoking. Do not dwell on the idea that you are depriving yourself of a cigarette. You are ridding yourself of full-fledged smoking because you care enough about yourself to want to.

Oh, yes, Greet, I agree. Think of the positive, not the negative, aspect of smoking. What we are doing FOR ourselves, As opposed to what we are giving up. Our perspective means alot. Shalom!

Also see Make Smoking History and the oh so popular, Quit Wizard, smoking cessation tool, plus more. From there, click on the Quit Smoking box; select Quit Wizard fromt he menu to the righthand side of the next page, and login. It does wonders! You can visit the website without registering but to use the Quit Wizard tool, you'll need to register similar to how you did here. Create a screen/user name & password, verify password, and login. |

| Me too, especially because that little smiley gave the "V" for "Victory" sign on the skateboard, which could also be known as fists of determination. But I enjoy these here. The ones here keep me busy enough to carry me away. How is the REQUIT going? It's kind of scary seeing you, chippa, saxon, and a couple others who started smoking again. Never Quit Quitting! (that was a TTS'ers screenname, remember?) |
