55 hours nicotene free so far, coming a lil un glued and the mind (addiction) lies are very convincing, but not true.....Praying for strength and believing im gettin it. Never been on a forum like this before, just trying to stay busy and read while I get thru 72 hours (that seems to be the hardest part right)......

Take it one day at a time; one minute at a time, if you need to.
Learn to do different things when cravings hit.
And never, ever take that first one!

It gets progressively easier-the physical withdrawal thing-the more time that passes. The habit/addiction thing has been a bear. Still have that insane little voice telling me that I want a cigarette. That seems to be getting a little easier, and I know from bitter experience if I have even one all bets are off, so I'm avoiding that first one. Congratulations!

thanks John....im still stayin away from cigs 75hours now......I had stopped for 11 years and after divorce over 3 years ago, started smokin again...The biggest lie right now seems to be 'what am I going to do to relax' then it occurred to me u dont 'do' anything to relax.....Other than all this still a lil dazed and confused and looking forward to cravings subsiding at least a little.
