hardest to qit, and the most dangerois habit. i had actually quit for 2 and a half monthes, but after 2 weeks in a hospital, once i got out, first thing i did was buy smokes. i dunno, symbolized freedom i guess, as it was one of the countless things you weren't allowed to do in there, this was like 6 months ago and its been a struggle ever since. i quit for a few days, and i smoke for half a week, and when i smoke, i smoke ALLOT, down to the stub. nicotine anonymous meetings are scarce, which is ashame as i believe smoking related diseases are more common than any other substance can claim. ![]()

Hi, Umbriago; I agree, we need more nicotine support groups! ![]() There's none at all around here. ![]() Please try to get back on the horse again. And use this site for support. Our daily support group is helpful. I've started using Chantix, and found it helpful. I forgot to take it and slipped up, so, I'm back trying again. Remember, each day is a fresh start; each day is a chance to try again. Never give up! ![]() Shalom!

You need a doc's prescription. And it costs between $100-130 per month, which, for me, is less than cigarettes. There is a site for chantix, with online support and a link for financial help. Quitting – CHANTIX Official Site – CHANTIX is a Prescription Medicine to Help Adults Stop Smoking You may want to check it out. It is covered by insurance if you have it though, which shows how effective it is. Most of these smoke cessation meds are not. Shalom!
