Just an update ...

... SInce it's been a while since this chemical roller coaster took off before I could get sat down good...

after all this - with no effort that I can think of ...
no 'denial' feelings and all the other torment I was having...
since November ...

I've gone from two packs per day -
to avg. less than 1/2 a pack per day.
Normal - is around eight.

I've been 'holding' there ...
and am not going to push
until this other stuff balances out.

Some of the gained weight is coming off...
not in a rush to freak about that or anything else right now.

Anyway!!!

I've received some PMs' asking ... so there it is.

And - lighting a smoke and putting it right back out ...
is becoming more and more the new 'norm'.

Well done on your progress Barb...

I went from 3 packs a day
to 1...and appear to be stuck there!

I feel my smoking is more "situational"
than it is a physical craving.
I usually only smoke at my computer
and in AA meetings. ...weird I know!

The only time I crave a cigarette is after meals
A cinnamon disc or 2 ...no more urge.

I'm tickled to see your positive update
You Go Girl!....

day three - and it's a shaky one indeed.

anybody notice how INTENSE everything is ???

but you know - (cravings/compulsions) are lasting about ..
two minutes,
and are around fifteen minutes apart ...

like labor...LOL

but I"m not 'wacked out' like the other times.

and walked in my house yesterday morning after work -

MAN!

it SMELLED clean. LOOKED clean ... wow-ee!

ok.
Found out yesterday -

to smoke - makes me literally SICK now.

nauseated.
coughing.

crazy.

so I'm hyper and INTENSE ... but back to day two again.

now I'm going to be snowed in for three days
(we got three inches of new fall today -
and they're calling for up to twelve before the weekend is over?????)

I seem to do better when I'm at home than I do here at work.

Regardless -
I'll be snowed in without smokes.

Oh, good grief, Barb!
You're still getting snow???

I do better once home too. I know the feeling.
But, I live out in the boondocks, with no stores anywhere nearby.
I guess being snowed in is the same thing!

You can do this, Barb!
Remember, keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!

{{{{{{{{{ Teach}}}}}}}}}}

(happy Passover)

yes! SNOW!
Three inches just during my shift -
we're under an severe storm whatever -
theyr'e saying expect up to 12" !!!!!!!

I *KNOW*
(read like Craig Fergusen says it)

But I'll be snowed in with no smokes -
it's just the stress and basic unhappiness here at work, I'm thinking.

I LOVE HOW CLEAN MY HOUSE SMELLS !!!!!!

I needed to know that it was gonna make me sick, though.

that part - actually kinda makes me feel ... relieved.
I've got some sleeping aid type med ...
Ihaven't slept really ... so the snow will help with that part.

c-y'all on Wednesday!

thanks for the inspiration I'm really new to this chat thing??? so bear with me. I hope someone contacts/replies to me. I just started chantix 3 days ago and I've already noticed changes. I smoked 2 packs a day and just yesterday I only had 1/2 a pack and the cravings are getting less and less. Please let me know how you do. Thanks for reading:praying:
