karrotop Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: long island,ny Posts: 175	weaning myself off the chantix hi all...I have been taking chantix for two months now...been smoke free for all but a week of those months...i have 6 tablets left,and i am going to cut them in half,an take 1/2 tablet for the next 12 days...and then try to go it alone...been taking only 1/2 tablet/day for the last 4 days,and it's been good.spent the day with a smoker yesterday....and when she lit up,it smelled good,but i had no desire to smoke.so,wish me luck.KT
