... and the only thing I'm doing different - is ...

I changed how I'm saying my prayer to HP.

All I changed was , "Please help me want this."

that's it. The results in just 72 hours is AMAZING!

I thought I'd pass it on, because stopping *was* kinda put upon me ... in that 'I did it to myself' kind of way we addicts love to blame, but .... the APPROACH was wrong ... for me.

I mean, *I* wield the second - strongest willpower in the proven universe - I'm an alcoholic, right? But - I didn't WANT to quit. Just look at my other posts. I had to change what was UNDER the WANT, before even wanting it.

*typical Barb-speak, there*

Anyway - it's great so far. Like I said on another thread - I've got about four 'hard' urges during the day ... and that's it. And I knew getting away from work was the thing to do. So I've put it out to the Universe that maybe I need to move on now?

We'll see what happens.

and - I've been calculating - the 300.00 a month I am saving .... is plenty for a new(er) vehicle.

For so many years of going to AA meetings, I have heard over and over again: "Ya gotta wanna". How true that statement is, no matter the addiction.

day FOUR!!! wooHOO!!!! FOUR!!! other than once when i had pneumonia years ago - I don't know I've GONE four days totally nicotine free.
I realy struggled last night - bad - then when I got home - I saw - I hadn't taken my evening dose of chantix.

DUH!!!!!

tok it - did a P&M on it - 'thank you for helping me not cave this time) and went to bed. dreamed .... some of these greams - are gonna make great movies.
