I cant belive it - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I quit smoking at 6 years sober. Didnt pick one up untill 3 weeks ago at 13.5 years sober. Been trying to manage and control it ( think obssesion ) meaning its one of my primary thoughts that obscures most others. I chewed nicorette the wholle time and am well known for being the guy who has chewed it for 7 years. I know Im gonna stop, but what bottom do I have to hit before I do??? The bottom is definatly coming up at me because this is not acceptable behaviour for myself....

sobersurfer - take it one day at a time... don't worry about the concept of forever... think "no nicotine today" - before you know it you'll be done!
