Hi, James! And CONGRATULATIONS on three days!!!! ![]() You're half way through the hardest week, and doing exactly what you should be doing -- replacing smoking behaviors with other behaviors. In your case, you're cleaning your house. Would you like to come clean mine? Seriously, those cravings will be around for a while. But, just keep doing something different. Are you using any nicotine replacement or medication? Why not tell us your story. I've smoked for 36 years, but, I"m now One year, six months, two weeks, one day, 30 minutes and 13 seconds nicotine free. That's 22400 cigarettes not smoked, saving $6,170.77. Life saved: 11 weeks, 18 hours, 40 minutes. I just wish I knew where my money was going. LOL! Feel free to post on our daily check in thread. And remember to keep the quit and post before you puff! ![]() Shalom!

Hey you are all doing so well! I used to smoke so much ... ugh, I cringe when I think of how often. Being smokefree is so awesome.

Way to go Slowbriety...yea, my hubby loved it when I quit smoking too. The first few months I cleaned the house like crazy...amongst many other "obsessive compulsive" things. Nervous energy...for sure and I had a ton of it!!! This too shall pass...no worries. Just takes time to reprogram the brain and the body. Great going on 3 days smoke free!!! That's fantastic!! Glad you could join us down here!!! Blessings, Jen |

congrats on three days smoke free - it takes nicotine about 72 hours to work its way out of your body... WAY TO GO! you made it past the worst of the physical stuff... now the battle is 90% mental. keep strong and take a day by day approach. chewie - day 326 off dip
