One Week Smoke Free!

I quit smoking 1 week ago. I've found it to be just about what I expected.
I came across this site after typing "I REALLY need a cigarette" into google. lol
Glad to find some kind of support, seeing as everyone I know smokes..and instead of congrats, I keep hearing, "I don't know how you're doing it" which is not any kind of help. I don't know how I'm doing it. I've been smoking about 6-7 cigarettes a day for about 12 years, and realized last week I hadn't had one all day, so I said let's see how long this lasts...Then after 4 days, I felt like I'd be a fool for having one at this point. My biggest problem is I just can't shake this feeling of I didn't know my last would be my last...anyone have anything to say that might make me feel better about that? Thanks!

Congrads to you and glad you are here to join us!!!

I would say be thankful it was your last. I Think its like anything else we give up or that leaves us... we have to mourn its not part of our lives... I can still say I miss smoking, but life is better without it.
