I don't usually come here. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. But today is the anniversary of my father passing away from lung cancer. My mom, although she didn't die from it, was a smoker and she had emphysema. When I was a little girl, I used to stuff towels under my bedroom door and open my window so I could breathe. Still, I have breathing problems as an adult.

I just want to encourage everyone to quit. I know you can do it. This non-smoker is firmly in your corner.

Thank you ccgirl. Its a horrid addiction like anything else. Only, this one is the hardest to kick.
