I'm nearly to Day 6, and this is the first morning I've really been seriously tempted. I'm tired. My brain's foggy; it's difficult, if not impossible, to work.

I'm just feeling beaten down and weak.

Ohhhhhh dont do it.

For me that is when I knew that it was working, when the addiction tried it hardest to keep me addicted....

Soon you will not be foggy and feeling beaten and weak... that is the what the drug wants you to feel so you will use it and let it kill you.....

*hugs and prayers* you can do this hon, hell week is almost over .... hang in there.

Thanks. I think I got beyond the worst of it, but I'm still feeling a bit wobbly. I guess whatever needs to happen with work will happen and whatever doesn't happen isn't as important as getting through this.

Why is it that I never pick a time when I'm sitting on a lot of cash to quit? ;-)

*laughs*

I dont usually change anything about me when Im sitting on a lot of cash or feeling safe and happy. It is usually when Im in fear or struggling that I reflect and see what needs to be changed.

When the cravings happen it good for me to change what Im doing... focus on something else... I used needle point and making baby blankets when Im at home... driving I reach for gum and start blowing bubbles.... cant smoke and blow bubbles at the same time.

screen name don't do what you'll regret.
The crave passes! If you can do 6 days, you can do 7.

Screenname are you going the cold turkey route???? I'm on Chantix and I think it's a miracle drug! I have 3 friends who have quit too on it and feel the same. It truly makes quitting so much more do-able!!!!!!
