OK folks,

So, I'm on the patch, its working great..not craving cigs. But, every morning when I put a new one on, about 15 minutes later I throw up.
I constantly feel like I could throw up throughout the day and have been getting really bad headaches.

I tried not wearing the patch one day, and no problems..except then I wanted to smoke..back on goes the patch.

Anyone else have this problem?

it's to much Nicotine to fast with a first thing in the morn patch. Try taking
2mg Nic gum until 11:00 or noon then after lunch put on the patch and you will be more prepared for the rush. I went through the same thing but now i'm addicted to the gum and going broke because of it. Sheesh, Good Luck

LOL! I know its not funny, but isnt that how it goes!
Thanks Quantum, I will try that tomorrow and let you know how it works for me! Im excited to not throw up anymore. Its no fun.

You could also try using the 14 mg patch and if you dont crave then use that for the first 6 weeks.

The first time I used it they made me sick too... I had to use the 14mg.

I had someone suggest that to me Cynay, which I may still try. Although, those patches arent cheap and I really wanted to use the ones I had bought for my 6 weeks..Yep, I bought 3 boxzes of the Step 1..why you ask? Because I told myself I wouldnt smoke, if for no other reason, than it would be money wasted on the patches! It seems to have worked!

hurmm .... Not sure if its a good idea or not, but what about cutting them in 1/2?

The box says not to cut them, something about the nicotine pilling out?
I had thought about that though
Today, I did not put it on this morning until about 10 minutes ago, instead of the usual first thing after showering at 6am. I did take the patch off before going to bed also last night..slept much better and no cravings or sickness

No use getting sick.. I smoked 35 years tried gum.. tried patches..tried willpower.. I finally ask God to help me.. have not had a smoke in two years..
It was free... and so am I

I would cut it in half too.
I hope it works out for you.
And I took it off at night too.
