|  Hello, Day 4, No Cigs..................
I was looking around the internet to TRY to find a Nicotine Withdrawl Smilie and stumbled across this site. I also am a recovering Alcoholic, 13 years sober. Took me long enough to figure out the smoking isn't good for me either. DUH. Well, I'm so glad I found you all and hope to spend many happy and enjoyable as well as educational and friendly hours here in the future. Great job, Wii!!! Welcome to SR. I found this site when I was struggling with my sobriety. I found this to be a great tool for my toolbox. I am 15 1/2 years sober and have been smoke free for almost 8 months. Glad to see another friend recovering from addiction. Welcome again to our site! Blessings, Jen |

Yea, now that I try to remember my exact last day of drinking, I do believe it was Feb. 18, of 93 so I am approaching 14 years of sobriety. If I hadn't stopped when I did, for SURE I'd be dead right now. Everything I lost to alcohol I have never been able to regain. And everything they say about it is true. You either end up in jail, uh, I forgot the next one and the last one is in the ground. Help me out here someone.  |

Yes, 14 years is a long time. Too bad I drank all those other years away and killed the rest of my life. I can never regain what I lost. I will die alone now. Anyway, on a happier note. These Nights are a B*tch!!! I want to smoke but I'm not Gonna.  Yea, one week tomorrow. Gee, do I get a cake??  |

Well, made it to one week. Yeppers, 7 BIG days without a cig. Last night was really rough. I got into a big fight on another site about on of the Mods not only getting fired by also getting banned from the site. I was just trying to be honest about the reasons why she was so disliked. But who'd have guessed that her few and very loyal friends would come after me and anyone else who said anything against this Mod.  Anyway aside from that little fiasco, I started baking 3 days ago. A chocolate cake then last night I made a chocolatechip cheesecake. It's still not Nicotine, which is what I am craving but it'll just have to do. |

You can't have cake??  I wouldn't want to live.  No Booze, no cig's are just about all I can handle right now. OH, and it's now $21.  I'll post some pic of what I make. Baking I think right now is keeping me from commiting a crime. ::Wink:: Just Kidding. |

OMG Stop.... your killing me. Yea ... my pleasure center is on total withdrawl..... No Cig, No Wine, No Sweets and Im not getting anything else at the present moment either!!!!! I have to admit though I did have some wine last weekend... but It did cause some serious cravings.... Plus a friend pointed out to me that Welbutron and Wine dont mix...considering the Doc just uped my perscription I guess I wont be doing that anymore.... GGGEEEEZZZZ. I told you much more and you can sign me up to be a Nun. Cuz Im not getting Nuuuuun of anything.

|  Congratulations on your sobriety and your smobriety!  :You've made it past Hell Week! Yea! It will get better. Good that you're choosing different behaviors to replace smoking with. Recognize that you will probably gain a few pounds, though, so, work on your sugar free baking! LOL! Keep up the good work! You're doing GREAT!  Keep the quit and post before you puff! :>) SHalom!
