My cousin is in labor tonight and that beautiful little bundle of joy is heading into the world. His name is Adam Jr. , AJ for short.

I'm so excited! This is another incentive for me to stay sober.

I am 5 years older than my cousin and I have always tried to be a good role model and always be there for her. I really let her down a lot of times. Now I want to be there for her and the new little baby. I want to stay sober so I can be all that I can be and do all that I can do for them.

She is like a sister to me so she said that he will be calling me Aunt Cheryl! LOL, I'm so excited!!

Her husband called the house earlier to let us know how she is going. She is half way there and he said that she was having a rough time. When she sees that beautiful baby, AJ, it will all be worth it!

AJ was born at 1:30 on April 20. He is 5 lbs. 2 oz.

I'm so happy for her!! Wow, tears of joy!!

Everyone please pray for AJ. They just called and they said that his lungs aren't fully developed and he can't breathe on his own. He is hooked up on the machine and is going to be transported to another hospital. The doctor said that it will probably get worse. Please keep AJ and his parents in your prayers. It is in God's hands.

I will keep everyone updated.

Both my kids were born preemie 6 weeks early....my daughter weighed 5 lbs 4 ozs. son 6 lbs 9 ozs. Both had to be taken to NICU..........they gave them surfactant (sp?) ...it was scary...........but truly they do amazing stuff in NICU!!! I am praying really hard for dear AJ............his parents and you too.
