How cool is it that I am celebrating 30 days of clean and sober time on the first day of a fresh, new semester of college?

Matter of fact they do...especially for SOBER old geeezers! I started taking college courses "late in life"...problem was the drinking which sent me to day classes hung-over...night classes, I was crocked, because (of course) I stopped at the Student Pub on my way to class. Come to think of it, I was pretty much majoring in Student Pub!

After getting D's in both classes one semester...I finally dropped out of school and into AA. Took me six years to get back to school...so, by that time, I was an even older geeezer! But, what a difference sobriety made...graduated with honors and my Mom, Daughter, and Granddaughter were in the audience to see me walk across that stage for my diploma!!!

So, you see, it's NEVER TOO LATE to follow your dream...and, sobriety makes so many things possible.
