Here's to my day 1
 

Went to the hospital early this morning. I am now on 10mg of valium for withdrawal symptoms. Now it's just time to relax and get over these next few days. It's officially my day 1. The valium really calms me I'm still a little shakey but nothing like before.

Alcohol is gone out of the house. I just had a little nap and I woke up full of sweat and sick to my stomach.

Did the hospital give you any instructions for the next few days? Did they only give you one pill? Did they check you out physically?

Yup checked me all out aside from blood pressure being a little high everything else is good. They right away gave me 2 valium and one more about an hour later and then sent me home with 4 more. And said come back if I feel like I need more

They said my stomach likely has alot of inflammation from drinking but that will heal

I am so glad you went to the hospital. Don't you feel so relieved? Your life and your anxiety will improve in leaps and bounds as you quit the daily drinking. Keep posting!

I'm glad you went too, Baby. You never have to put yourself through this again. Life will be so much better when you're free of it.

How are you doing?

You will make it through this. We are all so proud and happy for you.

Baby- I am only on Day 12, and sometimes the only thing that keeps me from making a stop at the liquor store is remembering just how ****** I felt for 3-5 days whilst detoxing. Remember that feeling..... Remember the sweats, the night terrors, the nausea, the shakes, the depression.... remember it well...it works for me so far

Day 2!!
 

I slept and I slept for a solid 9 hours. Haven't done that in about a year. I'm a little shakey and a little nervous about what to do with my day but for now I'm going to have an herbal tea. Appetite still hasn't returned and I have a headache from hell. But I must push through. Thanks for being here everyone. On to day 2!

The headache will subside, and the appetite will return, it is all only temporary....
My Day 2 was during the 4th of July weekend, so I basically did chores and exercised for 14 hours straight, even though I also had a headache of cerebral hemorrhage proportions.... Just stay on point, you will feel better in a day or two...

Have you cleaned that kitchen ? lol. C'mon Baby you got this ! X
