I noticed the Jack Russell Rules too. They also seem to apply to beagles, btw.

I am having a rough day . I think the come down from the holidays, with son leaving for the weekend with his dad last night. Took down the decorations this morning, and just feeling miserable.

I have an autoimmune disorder that seems to kick in with stress. It has been kicking up since NYE. I almost passed out on Mr. Fireman (who luckily is also a paramedic) so he was able to help me out. My blood pressure and heart rate just go out of whack. He said my pulse was up in the 180's for around 5 minutes, I don't really remember cos I felt really out of it. I don't know if it was triggered by my choking, or triggered by downing 2 alcoholic drinks . I just feel like I have put myself in a big hole right now. My head is pounding, I feel dizzy constantly.

I kind of feel like I am useless. But I know I am not. This just sucks. Maybe I should just go take a nap.

Yeah, I know. I am just sat here in tears, and I cannot put a feeling on why. And although I am not really thinking about alcohol, I feel like I am in a really weak place.

I thought it sounded creative, too...

Mesa:
...two questions...raw shrimp? If so, how you manage that, given your remote locale? And second, did I see yogurt in your sushi assembly line? How that fit in??

I did get into Nurse Jackie! Watching it now, trying not to feel guilty. I only function in two modes - turbo speed with a fire up my butt and completely vegging. No in-between.

Anybody watches the show Mom? It's funny, and I love the Mom character.

Tetra, I'd be wary of the person coming back into your life. S/he left it for a good reason.

lol, melki. You sound like a kitten. I used to have 6-8 of them at a time for Foster Care. They have two speeds, full tilt and sleep.

If a kittens eyes close, it seems=dead asleep. Eyes open=turbo.

Awwwww bix (((((hug)))) too

Awwwww serene (((((hug)))))

MB! My new car is great! I've been having so much fun in it! Quitting smoking too.
Though I failed yesterday, but I 'm trying again today
Thanks for asking!

I'm really in the mood for a big breakfast, like bacon, eggs, toast.

I have no money though and I have groceries, maybe next week.

I haven't been this broke in a while!!!
I put a down payment on the car
Paid rent and all my bills
Paid my university tuition.

Now I'm so poor for a week!
Ah well, no money to waste on cigs

Tetra if you don't really like them, just ignore.
If you do like them maybe give it a whirl?!

I picked a nissan sentra.
I chose the most boring haha
But it's practical and affordable.
I often have to pick up my staff and drive them around, so I needed the space.

I'm hoping for a wrangler next though, that's my true love

Is it weird if I go to AA only to make friends?

I don't want to work the steps, and I'm not into the higher power thing.
I'd just like to have some more sober friends.
I like my friends I have now, but it would be nice to have people around that don't drink at all; even though a lot of my friends drink responsibly, it get annoying to always be around alcohol.

I just feel like at AA they sometimes pressure you to do things their way only.

Tetra I agree with Brynn's suggestion that you ask the person why he/she wants to be friends all of a sudden

Serene, I hope you feel better soon, If not then at least the local doc or hospital are probably used to sea urchin stings

LearningAgain take care of yourself and see if you can find something distracting on TV. Most likely brought on by the choking event rather than one drink I would guess. Hope you feel better soon
