90 days now what?

I got 90 on thanksgiving. This is the first time I've hit 90 days. I can't believe it took this long to reach this after years of saying I'll quit. But idk I still feel scared of exploring life. As if this can easily come to a end. But hey Im starting to build muscle. Skin way smoother. Feel surreal

90 days is fantastic! But don't consider stopping. Maybe it ends, maybe it doesn't. Take baby steps in life. You don't have to be scared of taking any big steps. Just do a little here and a little there and you'll be surprised where you are in another 90 days.

Good luck to you. I'll be looking for your 180 day post.

Time for another 90 i recon

feeling scarred about life is natural i think.
What i did was concentrate on a solid sober routine and improvised in very small ways over time seeing how i felt .

keep on

Congrats!

And yes, it can totally come to an end.

Good news is, that's all up to you!

This is not a mystery. You're not helplessly creeping along just on the blade of becoming a victim to relapse.

You're in the driver's seat.

What are you doing each day apart from 'not drinking'?

Not drinking is only one piece of sobriety.

If we seek each day to deepen our sobriety and our lives, then we find it only gets better and better.

Write down three things you can do - today - to deepen your sobriety. Then go do them.

Repeat daily.

90 days is fantastic and it's normal to feel nervous. Take things slowly and don't push yourself too much. You'll be fine.

Ninety days is great! I was still feeling things out at that point. It felt decent but I didn't know where it was going. The pain had receded and was fading. I had to keep pushing forward. I wasn't comfortable but I wasn't uncomfortable either. One day at a time. That's what I needed to focus on.

Keep it up! I like to read around on SR for different ideas. It really helped.

Congrats on 90 days!

Things will just keep getting better the longer you stay sober. I know at 90 days I still felt a bit awkward in my new life.

It helped me to make goals for where I wanted to go- while still focusing on one day at a time and being ok with progress on my goals being a lot slower than I would have liked.
