day 5 sudden urge
Just found out that I had a huge day on some investments. The first thing to pop into mind.....PARTY TIME!!!! Instantly,my sober mind kicks in saying "so...you go out to celebrate this day with drinks, partying with friends and what? **** everything you just accomplished away in the matter of a weekend? Settle down, junior!" Guess I'll kick back with a movie when I get home from work and go to bed early instead.

Hate that voice that comes into the head
Today i did everything i wouldnt when drunk and once i have done everything... Mmmm beer would be nice...... "Go away voices"
But ended up sleeping and watching a movie with a water.

Nice one!
What I've also been finding is that when that urge kicks in, the thing to do is not to say to yourself "I must not drink" - because guess what you're then thinking about?
The key's in the sentence - Drink!
Rather, focus on how good you feel now, how clear-headed you are etc. Instead, focus on that feeling, and keeping hold of that, hopefully feeling even better!
In other words, focus on what you want, not what you don't want
