I heard a cool tune on the radio returning from my air run. Thought I would share it.

Bell X1 - Defector from Blue Lights On The Runway

Hope you are feeling better Weasel. If you are totally bored - look for Shenendoah on netflix. It gives you an idea of where I grew up - and it is still the same.

Hey LB... I looked for that on Netflix and they dont have it.

Oh boy... feeling better but I woke from a St. John nap... allow me to explain... I have been to many of the islands... St John I had this villa with amazingly comfortable wicker couches. The floor to ceiling doors that opened and you could hear the gentle slap of the water and feel to warmth of the breeze. It was a maddening relaxing combination that zonked me every day I was there... I would take afternoon naps after a day on the water ... the kind where you try to pick up an arm and you literally can't. vooosh..... yeah... like that!

Pizza Time!!! then back to snuggling with the furry beasts!

I'm so embarrassed and so sorry!!
Sounds like you have a great voice Gilmer!

Weasel-that is too funny about cats feeling like you're invading their space.

I have recently found this pusheen comic that is rather funny and thought I'd share.

Don't worry, Strategery! I'm not embarrassed in any way. Gilmer is the name of a character in a play I was in in high school. It's based on an actual girl, but the name definitely sounds masculine--like Elmer.

Oh, Tetra! Thanks for the heads up on new Ben and Jerry's. It just made it to the top of my grocery list.

I don't have cats, but thought of our SR kitty cuddlers when I saw this funny pic...

Frozen pizza in the oven, electric blanket on the couch, ... Netflix time!

Ok sober team.... I was thinking we would do a little something different this week. I would like to start a sober holiday week thread tomorrow morning to last the entire week. Help those traveling and preparing a place to go with no interruptions between this and the next weekends thread.

So if we could let this drop a bit in the morning as the other gets momentum so the new folks can join and we hope gets some extra support.

You all rock!!!!!!

Strategery and Gilmer....I laughed out loud over your choir conversation. ..Thank you! I don't know why it struck me so funny, but I really needed that laugh. This has happened before, when someone thinks a woman is a man and visa versa.

Weasel it's a good idea to start the new weekend thread tomorrow. It will be a difficult week for many. I'm trying to stay positive. ..but I find myself craving comfort food and feeling very tired. I was also a bit cranky today. But I did find the perfect glass TRIFLE bowl today at World Market. Gonna make a Boston creme triffle with strawberries for new years. Maybe I can figure out how to post a photo by then.
Sorry to see this weekend come to an end. But this will be a short week, so all is good.
