I'm totally new to this w/questions

Hi, I'm totally new to this forum and frankly haven't been active in a forum for approx. 10 yrs +. So anyone that can help I'd appreciate it but first i will give a brief intro on myself and my recovery. As of today i have 1 yr. 4 mos and 11 days clean and sober. I am engaged to be married to a WONDERFUL, LOVING and SUPPORTIVE man. We are expecting our first child together in Feb. And I have great, great goals and dreams coming to pass in my life. I graduated a 28 day treatment prog. exactly 1 yr. ago today but was clean 4 mos prior to treatment. But what i'm interested in is blogging. I've never had a blog or read one. But from what i've heard you can essentially give your personal thoughts, inspirations, etc. from everyone to read. In which, I don't mind. But is that what a blog is? And how do i start one? Because as we all know "everyone has a story" and mine doesn't begin or end here. I think i have lots of wisdom and experience in MY own personal journey to addiction and recovery and hopefully can be an inspiration to someone. I'm not new to recovery but actually started my journey the end of 2011 with so many ups and downs, failures, and disappoints that are finally paying off because i did not give up. So thanks for any suggestions and help.

If you look at the left, top of the page we're on now, you will see UserCP and beside that Blogs. Click on Blogs and it will give you an option to write what you would like. This is more information on how Blogs work:

You're also welcome to post on the boards too, which is what we're doing here.

a blog can be anything you want it to be really...most people use ti like a diary or journal...sometimes a soapbox.

If you journal here in a thread, you'll get feedback...if you blog in the blog section feedback will be more limited

Welcome mas. I don't know anything about a blog but, I sure hope you hang around. Sounds like a lot of us could get a lot good information, support and, help from you.
