Talking Stay Sober Weekender Thread! BOO! Oct 31-Nov 2

Let's get back to our themed weekend threads! This one is easy. Halloweenie!

Back when I went trick or treating I thought I was slick and went out to find all the houses that gave out the good stuff. Then I went home and threw a sheet over me and went back for more! Sad part was I wore some pretty thick glasses back then and I put them on over the sheet! A blind ghost? I was such a dork!

I carve pumpkins every year and below is this years edition. Add your pumpkin pics!

We need a really good soundtrack this week!

Pile on the sober buses and let's get our weekend support network started off strong.

Ready? ............ Welcome to your sober weekend! *Ring Ring*

No pumpkins here unless they are in pie form. hahaha We live out in the woods, no kids around, no trick or treaters. Carving a pumpkin would be fun, but it would attract critters we don't want near the house. After last week's skunk episode, we really don't want to relive that. However, when the kids were here we'd carve lots of pumpkins and make some fun decorations. FUN memories!!!

I think we need Bowies Scary Monsters. I am in. Today is my Friday. Taking the kids trick or treating tomorrow. I plan to carve my pumpkin tonight. Kids did theirs the other day.

Weasel I love that story. I am blind as a bat without my glasses. Can't wear contacts anymore. I am grateful for the thin lenses.
Well. It is supposed to rain slash snow tomorrow. Brr. Trick or treating will be brisk.

Talk to you all later!

Spooks

Spiders and Antlers and Lights - Oh My!

Winterizing my lil Camp Trailer today, and mucking around the CO Ranchette while Solo. Gotta clean the new Truck. It's trashed. Stupendous Fall Weather. The Deer are back and roaming about. A Pic about that later.

Waiting for THAT Warren Zevon Song!

Now, here's a Band you've likely never heard of. And, for good reason...

In!

Friday off, so 3-day weekend for me. Although, tomorrow is no picnic. We have a separate shower and bath in the master bathroom, and we found out Tuesday that the bath tub leaks. We found this out as several gallons of water came pouring out different places in the downstairs ceiling!

Plumber is coming Friday morning. I'll make the additional repair plans based on his findings and recommendations.

Our cul-de-sac does a communal trick-or-treat stop in front of our house, so I have to set up for that tomorrow afternoon. I bought some lighted decorations last year (half off on NOV 1!) so it may take a bit of time to get that organized.

Also need to get my truck in for an oil change.

Plus bacon and tax homework. No rest!

Let's have a great one!
