Day 20
Well, today is day 20 sober. This is the most I have had in a long time after my 11 month bender, one of many during my 21 years of heavy drinking. I'm thankful that my blood tests came back normal and it doesn't appear that I have done any permanent damage after all these years. My appetite is slowly coming back and my head is starting to become a bit more clear. I've gone to an AA meeting each of the last 2 days and am planning to go every day for at least a while. I don't particularly care for AA but the meetings are a good place for me to be right now. Anyway, I'm just kind of checking in here. I thought it would be good for me to write something.
