What day of the week do you have your worst cravings?
I drank every day so it didn't really matter so much. The good news is that they become far weaker and far less frequent as you gain sober time.
Keeping busy and having tools to keep them at bay is your best bet.

I drank every day. At least 2.5 bottles of wine, usually 3 per night. But the night before my day off I always "celebrated" the fact that I didn't need to be functional the next day by getting extra drunk. Maybe 4 bottles of wine.
I drank plenty, didn't matter the time or place or day, but now, while I don't have cravings through the week at all ... I did get a twinge the last two Fridays. A bit of a nostalgia, for the dressing-up and going-out ritual.
I actually miss the primping part even more, almost. I absolutely love to doll up and now I have no excuse to do so! Lol.

friday after work and saturday.
Mon-Thurs are ok as I am just beat from work and can muddle through....but those Fridays after a long week can be a bit tough. Usually though, the drinking that started Friday didn't end til Sunday.

QUOTE=ANewDayNYC;4930887]My typical week goes like this -
Monday – 0
Tuesday – 10
Wednesday – 0
Thursday – 5
Friday – 8
Saturday – 8
Sunday – 0
Mostly an every other day drinker.
Weekends were always one day and often Friday and Saturday. Sunday seldom, Monday seldom, Tuesday was the hardest day to not drink, Wednesday was an easier day at work so Tuesday was the biggest day to not drink. Sort of Did not drink Sun or Mon, so it was time on Tuesday. Wednesday not much, then Thursday it started the craving, craving filled on Fri or Sat.
Of course this pattern was only used for about the last 14 years!!! Did not realize it until the last 6 months.

My progression was from every other day (not cravings, but habit) to everyday - then I started having physical cravings at a certain time of day - threeve.
I do not experience physical cravings anymore, but the obsession/compulsion does hit occasionally.
Fortunately, by grace - I have tools in place to deal with those and they pass quickly. Simply run the tape, so to speak.
My cravings now are for sobriety - I am addicted and need it daily!
peace

Every day was a good day to drink. Monday is the hardest day for me NOT to drink, because my attitude was (and still tends to be) "oh, joy, another week of the same-ol, same-ol." Friday is also a good trigger, 'cause WEEKEND.
