Hi,
I had a slip up a couple off weeks ago and don't know how to stop & I'm am drunk now and I have been secretly drinking bottles of wine in my bedroom and any chance i get alone as I could not bear my children finding out.
I know I am Very stupid and selfish but just did not adjust to well being sober.....
I just don't know what to do ??
Any suggestions please

I didn't say it was easy. I said if one person can do it, or thousands can do it, so can you.
Many people were in worse situations than you and they are sober today.
I read your other thread. Stop drinking today before you have to be hospitalized again. You are causing your problems now, not anyone else.

Sober up and come back here, don't give in to despair, it will be so worth it to achieve sobriety. Many people struggle and it takes a long time to finally get the hang of it.
Take some solace in that it is possible, and help is available.
Hope you're well, look forward to hearing from the sober you soon

We're all rooting for you jay. Your posts here (even when drunk) show me that you want to stop.
Come on back in, read, and post. You are welcome to join up with the "Class of August 2014" or the new September class thread when it is started. There are lots of folks (myself included) who have slipped up and had to start again with sobriety.
We are here for you. WE CAN DO THIS

I know how you feel Jay. I am sitting here sober but drank yesterday and a lot this past week. Let's start over together. Find a way to stay busy and keep posting. This is a great support group. Don't give up.

I for one know very well as I did relapse a billion times.
What I can say is don't let a setback keep you down for months. Get right back at your sobriety, try to learn what happened and your frame of mind when you picked the First drink. Then add something to your recovery plan.
Lastly, keep asking for help on SR. I found that the minute I start closing in on myself and stop reading and posting, that I get weaker.
Take care, we are behind you for support!
