A "petty" sober weekend thread! July 25th - 27th!!!
My big orange cat Henry has seen me go from a bright eyed hopeful character to the deepest depths this person will ever see.
From a very controlled drinker out of fear ... to a crack head trying to chase a puff of smoke someone else exhaled in hopes to get higher... To a once again fearful sober alcoholic.
I traveled this distance in a mere cats lifetime where 16 years of my life are equal to 80 of his. I swear that feels reversed.
Our pets are very important parts to sobriety. Let's have an awesome pet showcase weekend thread!!!!!
If you don't have a pet no worries. Lucky for you it's also adopt-a-freinds-pet weekend! Adopt a fellow SR pet for the weekend if you find one you like or share about one you know!
Let's start this weekend with a bit of a laugh..... I walked into the cat room and found this.... Now they are both boys... Go figure in my house... And neutered... And they are just washing each other but they both stopped frozen... They stared at me and I them... Eye to eye until someone blinked. I grabbed the camera and they continued to stay frozen. Oh the shame of being caught!!!!
BTW the black and white one is Chuckie! He is 14 years old.

Hey all, I'm a newcomer in for the weekend thread!
Love the photos of your cute pets.
I don't have a pet and haven't done for years, but my best friend has a lovely cat who I'm rather fond of. I don't have a photo of him, sadly.
Anyway, I'm in for the weekend! Weekends in themselves aren't a massive trigger for me, but I'm in for the support anyway, and hopefully to provide support to others.

Love this thread. Going to make it through this weekend spending time with my family; which includes our two dogs and three cats.
Not sure if my download will work but if it does this is Bailey. Funny that all 115 pounds of her thinks she is a cat!
