Stomach Aches
It could be both - but we can't diagnose health issues here - please see a doc if it's a concern. Drinking can cause serious damage to your entire GI tract over time.
Well done on getting to 9 days
I would get it checked out by the dr just to make sure.
I get a lot of stomach pains - especially when I quit. (and have been hospitalised twice due to stomach / gastric issues) this was all due to booze. I had inflamed my oesophagus so badly that food was sticking on the way down & had no lining left on my stomach. Everytime I ate or drank something - it was hell on the oesophagus - them when it did eventually reach my stomach I was in agony. I was prescribed Lanzoprazole and was told that the gastric functions can take weeks if not months to heal if they've been irritated & inflamed (as bad as mine was) with alcohol.
Safe to say though - at the time, although I got a scare, it didn't stop me ..... just took an extra Lanzoprazole & swallowed a load of Gaviscon !!!!
I'm on day 4 and having stomach aches - but I know it's a time game until it heals.....
But like I say - I would get it checked out...
