....of healthy stuff I never drank before!

Today's new frontier; Aloe Vera juice.

Alongside my morning's "Life Support" blend from a place in Chicago called Freshii (a blend of kale, avocado, spinach, banana, mango, pineapple, wheatgrass and protein) - I picked up a bottle of Aloe juce with mango and mangosteen.

I'm not sure what in the hell Aloe Vera juice might be supposed to do for you but I'm assuming it's something healthy and I'm pretty sure it's better for you than vodka.



Last night at dinner I had a thing called a "watermelon smash" at a restaurant that had a section of "zero proof cocktails" on the menu. Watermelon smash was watermelon juice, mint and basil and it was damn good!

Never really had so many unique and healthy things to drink until these past nearly-four months of sobriety as I've been exploring the world of juicing and smoothies and healthy beverages.

Yet another cool thing about the sober path....

There really are so many other healthy choices we can make when it comes to what we choose to put down our throats and how it impacts our lives!!

Have fun in Chicago Owl. I need to break out my spring gear instead of the wool suits and try to find that watermelon drink. Never been to freshii even though there is one near my office.
