Debt to pay
 

I just added up my debt and I owe 2668.29 from the last year alone. This is pretty much all my alcohol treatment debt. Hospital bills and counseling. Now its time to pay up and take care of it. Not to bad when you think about it because I probably spent at least 9k a year on beer.

Exactly, you will be back on top soon enough. Funny because I just paid all my outstanding bills. How in hell was I finding money to drink?

I guess that's why I have 32k credit line. LOL! 2 years and I'm even.

How does debt for healthcare in the US work, is there interest accrued on it?!!

That is after my insurance paid their part. I have a 500 deductible and then I pay 20% after that. If I don't make payments I will have late fees and then it will eventually go to collections.

Just had a curious idea, can it be paid off with a 0% credit card, then you'd have 12 or 18 months interest free or whatever the promotion is for.

20% seems massive, the interest that a credit card would charge or even a personal loan from a bank would probably be cheaper, by switching the debt from paying the health care provider to a bank the interest would probably be much less, the credit card option could be 0% at the least.

Maybe that's not possible though if an insurance company is involved though, I've no idea on the ins and outs!!
