Oooooh first real urge

To buy alcohol there! I was in tesco at the fruit and veg and I just had the thought of buying wine. And it was quite a string thought too. Didn't expect it. But that's actually the first time I've been in a shop that sells alcohol since I stopped.

Good for you 13, you rode out the urge. Funny how they come out of nowhere!

You should be very very proud of yourself. It's cool to look back and realize you just made a life changing decision. I like to think of all of us making those hard choices, they are really difficult at the time, but what a sense of accomplishment.

Congrats!

Good for you for staying strong. I avoided any places that sold alcohol until i felt more confident with my sobriety. The more sober time i had the less i felt the urge.

Ugh, good for you. That has been a recent downfall for me a couple of times this summer. My favorite(and only one in town) farmstand decided to add wine to their inventory. I grabbed a bottle on an eve I had promised myself not to drink. Maybe have done it twice.

I kind of need to go there today, but I will not. The regular grocery stores here to not sell alcohol. Thankfully.

Good going on staying strong. When you walked away and removed yourself didn't you feel a sense of satisfaction that you didn't give in?

OK, that is so funny. Just think about it, now that we are pickles we can't ever go back to being cucumbers...does your other half know how funny he is?

Well done you .We r lucky in norn ire as the drink is in a bit of the stores with barriers round it. So you have to make an effort to go in. Another hurdle crossed.

Lommey that's where I am lol but it was just the fact that even being in a shop that sold alcohol it just took me unawares. Sure I've thought about drink since I stopped but this was like full on I could even taste it in my mouth it was that compelling. Anyways decided I'd rather decorate my living room instead lol
