Email Pen Pal? - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I'm 20 years old.
Looking for someone to talk to about my recovery.
I do have friends and family here for me, but they don't really understand what I'm really going through.
I would like to talk with someone who understands what I am going through..

*I have been addicted to drugs (many different kinds) and alcohol on and off since I was in the 6th grade. I currently smoke to keep the edge off.
I have stopped and recovered a couple times, but something always makes me relapse. I really feel like I was born to be an addict my whole life & it scares me :/

You can just post here any time--we're from all over the world, so there's usually someone that can answer.

A rehab program recommends that a sponsor have a year of continuous sobriety and completed the sobriety program of your choice. He or she should be reasonably available to help you.
