Saving money!

Woke up about 2 am, wide awake, got a big grin on my face when I realized it was because I had to go to the bathroom and NOT because of wine. Heart wasnt racing, no wine breath, guilt or anxiety, LOVE IT! Anyway I figured out that since I stopped buying multiple bottles of wine weekly on 11/30/12 I have saved $160.00 or more! that is enough to buy meds for my dog! Put those numbers into what I chugged down over a year and its around 2000.00 and I have no doubt that is a conservative number.
Another thing to add to my "why I dont need that bottle" list!

Congrats tazzle- I know exactly what you mean about waking up sober its pretty nice.

As I type this I sit next to a big jar I have filled, overflowing actually, with old wine corks. I should count them but honestly I'm scared to see what that jar represents in $$ terms lol.

I am saving my wine money for a trip to NY to see my family. We were thinking summer, but my mom turns 70 in October and in California schools have a fall break, so gives me a little more time to save.
