Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm sure it's painful to sit and recall some of the things from your past but I appreciate what you did by opening up here. May God Bless you and bring you a very lovely, healthy, happy 2013. My father is a severe alcoholic on the verge of death and this story gave me hope.

What a story, English. I know many will relate and find inspiration. Thank you for letting us be part of your recovery journey. As Itchy said, many will likely be helped by your words. Good of you to share those memories and your wisdom.

Hello My Friend,

English - That was quite an opening thread and it went from hopeless to a new chance at life through sobriety.

I wish you well!

Wow, that is an inspiring story. I hope that those here who feel hopeless, read this and see it is possible. I'm sure your family is very proud of you.

English, I was just blown away by your story. There is hope for anyone. If you can help others who are in the depths of addiction it won't be in vain.
