Help Me Make It Through The Night

"Yesterday is dead and gone and tomorrow's out of sight
And it's sad to be alone. Help me make it through the night.

I don't care what's right or wrong,I won't try to understand.
Let the devil take tomorrow Lord tonight I need a friend..."

I used to lie in bed and keep looking at my bottle. Did I have enough to make in through? How sad

Hey there just checking in and saying hello. You're not alone tonight or any night we are here. I'm having a crappy night but I'm trying to make it too.

Yesterday has passed,

tomorrow is unknown,

today is the present

and that is why they call it a gift.

We become like babies with our bottles. But babies and toddlers are cute sometimes. A cantankerous weather worn drunk? Not so much so.

Cantankerous is a great word. Just saying. I like how it sounds and how it looks on paper / screen. Lol

Crusty curmudgeon would be another way to put it. I guess old hag would be the phrase for a woman. Disgruntled would be a non-sex specific moniker.

I've yet to see a gruntled person. In fact, my spell check just underlined the word in red.

Well I did make it through another stormy night. More rain in the last week than we had in the last year. Got my allergies going and just laid around. Not cood for me gets that cranky word. Morning all.

"when the demon is at your door, in the morning it won't be there no more -- any major dude will tell you."

Have a great morning, fitz!
