Today it has been 28 weeks since my last drink!

I feel so alive, since that time I've lost over 40lbs in weight, I now feel and look younger than my 38 years suggest.

For anyone just starting out or struggling in your journey, please keep the faith, keep believing in yourself and stay strong.

Well done Wayne from across the pond, only on day three but feeling positive so far hope it stays that way, but realistically i know the monster will come calling again.. I will be ready for him even if i have to take to the bed..

Your right, that monster will come again, I got a strange feeling in a church meeting a couple of weeks ago, I just started thinking I need a drink, I couldn't believe it I was in church, why was I thinking this, so I asked God to take away the thought, he did and I carried on with the meeting.

I've just posted an article on my Blog which describes my journey, it's not been easy at times, but I'm sticking in there.

Just for the record it's been raining here too.

Stay strong and stay in touch, I will always be here to help.
