Hi everyone I'm new to this forum and not sure how to use it, basically I have a drinking problem and just wanted to share my story and read other people's. an I posting on the right page?

I got well after a lifetime of drinking after I joined here. I wasn't alone anymore. Hope you will feel the same.

Thanks everyone 😊 I like to read other stories as I always felt like it was only me who felt this way. I have more of a binge drinking problem than anything else. I don't know when to stop drinking in certain environments and I'm very easily influenced by others. I think the only way to controll it is stop all together so that's what I'm attempting to do!

Drinking seemed to be all or nothing for me, too. I'm much happier without it in my life, after years of trying to control it. Glad you're joining us!

Welcome miss! I too was a binge drinker, and not a good one. For me not knowing for sure when, where, why, what, or with whom that last drink would come made me realize that I could never again have the first one.
This took a painfully long time for me to realize. I'm getting some help, using sr, and have been sober for 70 days. Removing booze altogether for me has been nothing short of great.
