Chocolate Ice Cream

I had a crazy, stressful day today. I got to the point that my hands were shaking, and I felt almost of the verge of an anxiety attack (nothing BAD happened... just lots of little things including a grumpy husband and my toddler who had constant tantrums all day).
Anyway..... get a drink? I think not. Instead I sat on my couch, ignoring the chaos around me, took deep breaths, and let myself enjoy a bowl of chocolate ice cream. I felt much better! What a great alternative to getting drunk, and therefore more irritable and tense, pissing everyone off, wasting money, and feeling like crap the next day. And for what it's worth, I probably had less calories than I would have too

Sorry for all the smilies... I just learned how to use them and am having way too much fun with them.

Chocolate ice cream reminds me of being a little girl. I like other flavors, but chocolate will always be my favorite.

Good job, bjames!!

Good for you. Ignoring the chaos and eating some ice cream sounds like a mighty fine plan to me. I've decided to lay off the stuff for awhile. I had a month long live affair with any and every flavor. Enjoy!

I am now addicted to Turkey Hill's chocolate peanut butter cup. Hard to find, so when I do, I buy it all. I'm down to 2 quarts left in my freezer.

Now that's a terrific way to escape the noise
and chaos around us. ICE CREAM...!!!!
Ice cream once a week, maybe twice is such
a cool or cold treat for what ails me. Ben &
Jerry's Pistachio is my all time favorite and
look forward to sitting in my recliner with a
favorite tv show and slowly eat my ice cream
making it last as long as I can. For the entire
hour.

It definitely makes me and my tummy smile.

ENJOY..!!!!

I don't know if I'd be sober today if it weren't for chocolate ice cream topped with cool-whip.
