| the simple things
Its now day 3 and I'm feeling pretty good. Other than a severe headache and general tiredness I feel healthy. I just walked home from my sister's house, it's about a half mile. It's a walk that I've taken many times at night over the last few years. But this time I wasn't walking because I couldn't find my keys (and/or my car). I wasn't walking because I was fighting with someone and had to leave. I was just walking because I wanted to and it felt good. And I wasn't stumbling through the dark praying I wouldn't fall and hurt myself. I'm going to try to take pleasure in these simple joys of sobriety. I'm so glad I am sober today!!!
