No time to post on 1 month

Yesterday the 26th was my one month sober point from alcohol. I wanted to post since this seems to be the only place where people really "get it". I was on sr several times but spent time reading and then had to rush off .

In addition to my daily routine, we are in the middle of a move so we are doing several loads each day. Also still trying to mentally deal with the long weekend of drinking guests that left late Saturday night. I am so thankful to be dealing with all this in a happy and sober condition!

Thanks so much to everyone here. You are my only source of strength and support so I am grateful to all of you. I learn from you everyday. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Well done Happier!
I think you are right about this being the only place where people 'get it'. One month is a great achievement, you should be very proud of yourself x

Great job on your one month, Happier!

I know what you mean about facing things sober. I can't believe I spent so many years believing I had to take the edge off by drinking prior to tackling certain things. It only made everything harder, frustrating, confusing. No way to live. We will not go down that road again.

Way to go, Happier! Life just keeps getting better and more fulfilled the more distance I get from those old days. I trust that it will be the same for you, my friend.
