| First post. Alcohol free at last?
Hello. I'm typing this on my iPhone on a business trip so it'll be short and sweet. Just wanted to say hello and congratulate myself for being alcohol free for one whole week tonight. Yay me! I'll say more later when I don't have to type with one finger on a tiny keyboard. Been lurking awhile and this looks like the place to be for support and education. Can I use this thread as a journal or is there another place for that. Good night. BourbonJunkie |

I find thumb typing to be uncomfortable and my thumb doesn't know how to spell.... Welcome to SR! Glad you are here!! Join us in the chat room some time, too. Looking forward to following your sober journey with you!

Y'all can call me anything you want as long as you don't call me late to dinner. Speaking of dinner, still on the road and had a nice walk and had dinner with my cohort at an Irish pub. I had two pints....... of water! Wasn't jealous at all of cohorts beer. Just told him I was trying to lose weight which is partly truthful and easier to explain. Day 8 is great! Nine will b fine! Today was a little rough, probably because I'm tired. Home and tired. Also, I finished reading "Under the Influence" which was very enlightening to me but I wanted it to keep going! So..... I've downloaded the sequel "Beyond the Influence" and hope it's a better sequel than most Hollywood movies. Any reading suggestions y'all have would be appreciated because I think education is key. I'll tell more about myself later. Spouse is telling me that women's gymnastics are coming on TV so I'm going to watch that before bed. Take care. BJ |
