Yes me too. For those not in the US, there was a terrible random shooting in Colorado last night at a midnight showing of a movie. Prayers and peaceful thoughts to all affected, especially the families.

It's all over the news in the UK too. It really upset me this morning. Children and a baby too. RIP little angels. I'm glad they have made an arrest and this one, unlike so many other shooters didn't get the easy option of taking his own life. Oh I'm in tears now!

Flipped on the news after seeing this thread...my heart & prayers go out to those famines and those affected by this senseless evil. May God wrap his arms around you all & comfort you.

Hi all, writing from Denver. Thanks for the thoughts. I haven't heard much about it since this morning's news - we are actually quite a big city so it's hard to feel close to something that happened sort of far away from me. We were planning on seeing Batman tonight but are not going to now. Security is all over the theaters I've heard. I'm really kind of mad about the whole thing. I feel so bad for the parents. p.s. - This morning I heard that the "shot" baby was a misprint by Fox news - I heard that the baby is just fine. Without checking the news, I really hope this is true. Last I heard there were 2 dead - not sure about the others in the hospital. |

Hey all, quick update. So much worse than we thought. A lot dead. We saw Batman that night and it was just not the same. That madman ruined movie watching for all. It'll never be the same again.
