Turning my biggest weakness into a assest...

Good morning on this beautiful May 24th.

There is absolutely no doubt of my weakness to alcohol. For decades I let my mental conflicts from which I tried to escape by drowning my mind in drinking and drugs. Even when I was supposed to be doing it for fun it all reality it was to only escape to no mans land. To push and run away from any and all reality. And everything I used drinking for was all in reverse. It did not help feed me, build me up, for it only borrowed and stole from my future and dream of great things. So in trying all those years to escape from life in all reality it only multiplied all kinds of problems.

But as always there are two sides to every tale. So one of the most encouraging facts is that my weakness can become my greatest asset. With working the steps and working with others, I was able to face it , take it apart , and get to the roots of this origin. First I had to find the nature of this weakness and deal with it. So in admitting I was indeed just a drunk was the first step in accepting help in my handicap.

So now I try to just take any troubles as they come. As long as I can maintain a relaxed attitude and be composed in any bad engagements. I was told if I can rise above the distressing and disturbing circumstances in which are set in front of me, I will have discovered a priceless secret of daily living.

So with that I am off to enjoy a wonderful day. I hope you do the same, together we got this.

Smile cause sobriety looks good on You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good love, Inda

Okay so I just finished the first day of the Insanity workout. Holy Moly

Its going to be a long 60 days. But cant wait to see the results.

Now off to make 4 dozen redskin and cheddar pierogi's. Then a meeting.

What wonderful things sobriety allows us to do.
