It's kind of hot today where I live, so I mixed up a tall cool glass of lemonade to cool me down.

Takes away some of the heat but doesn't make me feel bloated, tired and crazy.

I like it better without sugar. Sugar is too sticky; draws bees too.

on a hot summer day, i like to chug a bit of cold coffee at times. I was doing that waaaay before McDonald's caught on~~

I need to try it! I forgot what lemonade tastes like without vodka. It's probably delicious!
Today I drank a Coke without rum and it was heavenly.

Hey Ejoshua,

Drank gallons of pink lemonade during the first several weeks of my sobriety. It got me through. Drank lemonade in coffee mugs, martini glasses, goblets and paper cups.
Eventually, I moved on to sparkling water and tea, but I credit lemonade for getting me through the early days and weeks.

I just enjoyed regular old lemonade on Saturday for the first time in years, and yes, it's WAY better than beer! The hubs and I were out golfing, it was sunny and warm out, and that lemonade tasted flipping fantastic!
