dayfive

Its day five and friday. This weekend will be tough I know. I seriously cannot remember my last sober weekend. I am feeling good about it and looking forward to not waking up on the floor and not sleeping away and wasting another day of my life. Why would anyone want to make themselves severely sick time after time after time. I hope the best for all the newcomers and lets feel good tomorrow!! Like Ringo Star says " NO NO NO NO I DONT DRINK NO MORE...TIRED OF WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR...." Thats a great tune.

You cant go wrong quoting a Beatle (lines from Rupert and the Frog Chorus excepted)

To pay good money, often money that my family could have used, to make myself severely sick.

Wishing everyone the best in their chosen program of recovery.

My day five today also, badatbooze. My first weekend in years being sober. Feels nice to wake up on a Sunday morning and actually wanting to be around family.
