Having a piece of chocolate with small trace amounts is not a slip if that helps, worrying about it & buying cases and cases of chocolates with alcohol in them would be though ;-)

Welcome to SR

You will find a lot of support here ;-)

P.S. Whatever you do dont let your alcoholic mind start to tell you that you have slipped in some way & that you might as well have a few now that you have slipped ;-) The alcoholic mind is an evil lying son of a B....

I wouldn't consider you to have slipped. Firstly you had no idea they had alcohol in them and secondly, would you eat box after box for effect/ Probably not. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Welcome Mercedesbnz2831

I'm unfamiliar with liqueur chocolates but I think, like NB said, the best thing is to probably try & put it behind you and maybe be more careful about stuff like that in future

I agree....Not something to get worked up over....If you find yourself hanging around the candy store waiting for it to open...That's a different story.

But it would be a good idea to tell your SO that you are avoiding alcohol, so that you are on the same page.
