Ther's physical detox and then mental. Many variables involved. Everyone is different. I'm working on mental all the time. Physically, I can pass any test, but at 102 days, still tired, not yet regulating eating or exercising. A process of changing, daily.

Give time time. PAWS can take many months.

I think it varies for everyone, depending on how much a person drank and how long a person has been an alcoholic. Here is some great information on what to expect: http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...at-we-did.html

Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome

It can last for....what'd rehab say, um, something like one month for each year of using/drinking. Something like that. For me, could be 3 years.

So, how would that work for binge drinking?

I seriously think the manner in which alcohol was abused is irrelevant as the reason we drank, to change our feelings, to not grow up, well, our minds & bodies need to regulate. I would focus on what I'm doing about it. Give yourself 90 days for now. Focus on your actions of today. Make changes today; like journaling feelings & working an established program.

I sleep or nap when tired, try to eat well without overindulging, just trying for normal daily routines every day. Binging changed your daily routine-how? You can figure out how to be even 7 days a week. I am no expert!

Hi Choublak

None of us are experts and you'll get a scattering of opinions here.
You're really asking us things only a Dr or medical expert can answer with any authority.
