| swine flu
Hey all, Starting to recover from a few days down and out with swine flu. i still feel exhausted and a tad sick, but nothing like the overall illness I felt since Monday. I usually go to a meeting at noon on Thursdays, but I'm not going today because I'm likely still very contagious. I used NyQuil this week, which I know for some people is a no-no, but I only took the recommended amount and only once a day, and only because I was so so so sick. So I'm still considering myself sober (I was never someone who abused cold medicines anyway -- and I surely wasn't doing it for the alcohol.) Anyways, I'm just checking in. Hope you all are well. Hope you feel better soon, penny. Don't worry about the Nyquil. You took it for legitimate reasons and it has nothing whatever to do with your recovery. Sorry you got that nasty pig flu.

Glad you're feeling better! Don't forget the Vitamin C and lots of fluids and.... full recovery soon!
