I am a addict I need help. I am scared, and dont know how to handle life, much less my addiction to vicodin I want off this nasty pill but dont know how to go about it. I attend meetings but dont talk I have 3 kids that need me I feel so all alone

Read the posts, post your own.. get to know people here.

How long have you been attending meetings? Do you have a sponsor, therapist? might wanna try one of those.

Hi TREA. I am in the same position that you are. I have been off of the hydrocodone 10mg for 17 days. If I can do it, I know that you can. I was on them for 9 years. I was also prescribed morphine for 9 years. Been of them for 32 days. Each day after the initial 7-10 days, I started feeling better. Just don't give up no matter what. It really sucks and hurts but it is worth all the pain. It is different for everyone, but I think with all of my health problems, I am a little bit unusual in my length of withdrawl. Keep up the fight and keep logging on here. It helps me a lot.
